Hey fellow freelancers, designers, developers & anyone who works remotely! WorkChew is new to Chicago! It’s a company that partners with local Chicago businesses to let freelancers use their restaurant spaces during normal working hours as a communal working space. They offer day, neighborhood, and nationwide all-access passes. If you’ve ever worked at WeWork, it’s similar, except with WorkChew, it’s likely there will be no startups working in the spaces but many individual freelancers.
There are 3 pass options that include various discounts based on the restaurant’s deal with WorkChew. Some offer 10% off food, or free drinks. So far, WorkChew’s communal workspace partners are Farmhouse Chicago, Left Coast River North, Loop & Lincoln Park.
