If you’re looking to combine your love of wine, music, and adventure, look no further than Vinyl Vineyards in Paso Robles. Nestled among the rolling hills of California’s wine country, this unique getaway offers a wild, unforgettable stay where you can sip on some of the region’s finest wines, spin classic vinyl records, and even hang out with alpacas.

They play vinyl during the wine tastings, which really sets the vibe. You can try their rosé, a white, and two reds. Relaxed and unpretentious, just good wine, good music, and a great spot to hang out.

Wine Tasting List

01. Vinyl Rose – 52% Mourvedre, 48% Grenache Juicy, ruby red grapefruit, strawberry, lemon zest, and terragon for your Rose all day house music pool vibes – $30

02. Vinyl Vermentino – 100% Vermentino – Our last vintage sold out – and this one is better…Zesty, refreshing, floral and unique. Serious David Bowie Ziggy Stardust vibes

03. Trio GSM – 50% Grenache, 42% Syrah, 8% Mourverdre The Bee Gees, Nirvana, Destiny’s Child, no matter your tase this GSM is perfectly balanced like osme of the best trios in the music industry

04. Self Tilted Bordeaux Blend – 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Petit Verdot, 16% Cabernet Franc, 8% Malbec This bold blend was made for decadent dinners paired with your Hi Fi system cranked all the way up – $60

And then, the alpacas. Actual divas. They’ve got names like Beyoncé and casually roam the place like they own it — which, honestly, they kind of do. It’s such a fun, quirky touch that makes the whole experience even better.

After the tasting, I went to this spot called In Bloom — highly recommend. The menu changes every week based on what nearby farmers are growing, so everything’s super fresh and seasonal. It’s the kind of place where you can taste the thought that went into every dish. Just a really solid way to round out the day.
