Ended up at Pellegrino’s Italian Kitchen the other night—it’s in a small town just outside the main drag, kind of one of those spots you wouldn’t necessarily stumble on unless you were looking for it. But honestly, that’s part of the charm.
It’s got a cozy, old-school feel—big booths, warm lighting, and the smell of fresh bread hits you as soon as you walk in. The menu sticks to the classics: pasta with rich house-made sauces, some solid seafood options, and a few seasonal dishes that change things up a bit. Nothing overly fussy, just good, straightforward food.
And if you go in the summer, the patio’s kind of a hidden gem. It’s surrounded by blooming roses and there’s a little fountain—it’s actually a great spot to slow down with a cappuccino or hang out during happy hour.
If you’re passing through or feel like a low-key dinner somewhere that feels lived-in and local, Pellegrino’s is a good call.
